Senior Software Engineer, Big Data

Background

 

As a Senior Software Engineer in Big Data, you will be responsible for: Designing and developing highly distributed, fault-tolerant, and parallel processing data analytics components to be part of the Syntasa Predictive Behavioral Analytics platform; Lead in the streaming, machine learning, visualization, and big data technologies to process billions of records in real-time; Lead, design and build highly scalable and robust data pipelines; Build highly scalable data integrations with various external systems; Leverage Big Data and other Open-Source technologies to build a core data platform for the product; and Integrate with Cloud Services (AWS, Google and Azure) in order to build native cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Spark, Java, REST, Big Data, Kafka, Spring MVC, DevOps, and AWS
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 3 years related experience as a System Analyst or related; or Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a System Analyst or related
